Chicago’s Black-owned bread company make the best out of every situation

Going all the way, or just trying is a miracle in its own light when running a black own business.

The founders of Chicago-based Black Bread Co., celebrated as the first Black-owned sliced bread company in the world, as black history month unfolds they detail their experiences as business owners and native Chicagoans.

Charles Alexander, Mark Edmond, and Jamel Lewis, take their Bread company, all the way to the top despite limited capital, lack of support, and racial stereotypes they have no control over.

The bread, is just that good with it’s own unique taste that will leave you looking for more. Although these young man have face challenges, that majority would have folded under without a doubt, they are dedicated to making history right before our eyes.

With major help from Oprah Winfrey Network series, Designed to highlight the challenges, and downfalls that come with this journey. That type of exposure, can only make you or break you. The pilot aired last week and new episodes will be released every Saturday through March 5, 2022.
