People will find a way to escape deadly countries, but once the light is shined on that situation it’s over.

Upon arrival in the United States, two individuals were detained by the US Department of Homeland Security. Later that day, the two man was transferred to US Customs and Border Protection. They had concealed themselves in the ceiling space above the seating, but unfortunately they still was caught in the United States. The plane flew from Addis Ababa via Lagos, Nigeria, and Dublin, Ireland, before finally landing at Dulles International Airport in Washington, DC.

As ground technicians for Ethiopia’s commercial airline, Yohannes and Gebremeskel took a chance on a new life in America. After working five years for the airline, these two man wanted nothing but a chance to live a better life without harm being done to them for no reason.

Yohannes and Gebremeskel planned to escape from Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, after they noticed that security was more relaxed there following the suspension of dozens of Tigrayan guards. But little did they know what would meet them on the other side in America.

The escape was unsuccessful, but I’m pretty sure people have plenty of ideas rolling upon their minds on how to leave.
