Former Drummer STEVE GORMAN Settles Lawsuit Over Unpaid Royalties

The music industry has always been a dirty game, but when it comes to royalties most artists has suffered from not getting their fair share.

New filed legal documents, obtained by Medium show that, Gorman and his former bandmates have agreed on terms that will free up any financial issues between the them. Gorman original complaint, filed in March in Los Angeles Superior Court against singer Chris Robinson and guitarist Rich Robinson and The Black Crowes Partnership, Gorman claimed he missed out on all royalties from THE BLACK CROWES’ albums.

Artist just want their royalties, so I can understand their pain when it comes to getting paid for the music they have released over time.

Gorman’s attorney Michael Mortenson added: “Mr. Gorman’s rights under the partnership agreement are very clear. He has every right to review the partnership’s financial information and confirm his earnings.
