How Chicago Actor Mike “E” Mpire Cameo On Tv Show Empire With Chris Rock Led To Even More Acting Roles
The end of Empire Tv Show was pretty much bittersweet, but the show helped lot’s of Chicago people start their acting career.
Now let’s rewind time back just a little towards Season 2, when the 32 year old Chicago actor Mike “ E “ Mpire was given his big break with a cameo as Mike Moses with legendary actor/comedian Chris Rock after meeting with Francine a cast director at the time. She called him in for a photo Shoot so Director Lee Daniels could take a look at him, maybe two day’s later he received a call stating Lee Daniels wanted to work with him. The scene is lead by Terrance Howard, who is sent to jail for a crime but runs into Chris Rock in chow. After the two have words, Chris gets up and try’s to walk pass Mike but is blocked by him leading him back to the table. This scene allowed other directors and producers to see him in live time on Tv helping him further his career. Just being in the same room with stars like Chris can boost your confidence by a 100% so opportunity is always a plus.
