On December 23, 2019 — Lil Wayne who is 38 years old had recently been convicted of a felony, so he wouldn’t be able to have a gun in his possession.
Before the November 3rd President election, Lil Wayne was able to meet with President Trump to discuss this matter and more leading up to this moment.
The White House announced Lil Wayne pardon earlier this morning, Football legend Deion Sanders also supported the pardon by President Trump.
Now that the rapper has been pardoned, he can focus on his music without worrying about serving another sentence. In 2010, Lil Wayne served a eight month sentence giving to him by a judge, after a guilty plea to a gun charge from a arrest made in 2007.
Hopefully he can bounce back after this pardon, so he can focus on his career and most importantly his children.
