Chicago,IL — Just as there are many flavors and variations of barbecue sauce flavors, so are the stories of barbecue origin. A few recipes for true barbecue, usually open-pit style, have been passed down for centuries.
Owner Tim Kodyra actually started Meat Smack bbq sauce as a challenge, the objective was to make a better sauce than some of the most popular bbq sauce already being sold in grocery stores. The original Meat Smack bbq sauce was created summer of 2007, a blend of sweet, heat and scotch whiskey all in one would best describe the flavor after your first taste.
My favorite flavor is the jerk bbq sauce, it’s just a taste you want forget ever in life. Gluten free, no high fructose corn syrup, no added smoke flavor or no added preservation.
You can find this bbq sauce in Chicago or Hammond grocery stores, this company is based in Illinois.
