Meet Jermaine Jordan The Chicago Chef Feeding The Homeless Free Healthy Hot Meals Everyday
Chicago,IL — Chicago is a beautiful city, but when it comes to poverty in the urban community it effects everyone from car jacking to robbery crime is a major factor. Jermaine Jordan born and raised on Chicago west side, has found a solution to feeding the hungry people at his restaurant “ Free Healthy Hot Meals “ located at 4100 w. Madison St. in the West Garfield neighborhood.
He has a true passion for cooking food, so feeding the people is just a bonus for him because it’s all out of love. His restaurant is basically funded by his Car Dealership and Car Wash, which is located not to far from the helpful restaurant. Donations also play a key role in him helping the community, so he wants everyone to know that he is very thankful for all who have helped him while helping the people in need.
Jermaine grew up in the neighborhood, in the Henry Horner Homes Public Housing Projects. He knows all about being poor, so he felt giving back would be the right thing to do. The community is very proud of him, basically watching him grow into this amazing person helping people everyday not just sometimes.
