NBC Universal new streaming service Peacock will carry some of the programs that was on NBC Sports Network in the beginning of 2022. Reverse segmentation is what you would call the huge move, it makes the remaining channels stronger with the Peacock streaming app on board.
Cable companies have been on the ropes lately, as consumers choose streaming over a large cable bill.
Peacock will become one of the main focus for NBC Sports, change is needed because we are leaning towards a more digital world.
When we think of NBC Sports we think of every existing sport, this change will help the network reach a new Verizon.
